The Early Childhood Australia Biennial Conference is a celebration of those who work with and advocate for young children and Early Childhood Australia as an organisation. The Early Childhood Australia Biennial Conference is a significant part of Early Childhood Australia's history and advocacy work.

Early Childhood Australia invites respected and experienced Australian and international keynote speakers.

Early Childhood Australia's 2010 Biennial Conference

The South Australia Branch of Early Childhood Australia invites you to Adelaide in 2010 to participate in the ECA National Conference, 'Garla Bauondi': a Kaurna phrase meaning 'to fuel the fire'.

As we gather and learn together, we keep the fire burning brightly for all children's rights, learning and wellbeing.

Join ECA members, those who working with young children, and others interested in children's wellbeing at Australia's biggest early childhood conference in 2010.

The three themes of the conference will be developed through the following strands:

  • reflect on their own practice with young children
  • be challenged and affirmed
  • hear new ideas from our own experts as well as those from other countries
  • discuss their own and others' work and to grow as professionals
  • network
  • have fun.
