The new blue card forms are available on the Commission for Children and Young People and Child Guardian website.
Commission for Children and Young People and Child Guardian
CCYPCG is an independent organisation that promotes and protects the rights, interests and wellbeing of Queensland children and young people.
CCYPCG issues blue cards which are required by any person in Queensland who wishes to work, in a paid or voluntary position, in a child-related area. After applying for a card, CCYPCG conducts a Working with Children Check that researches an individual's criminal history, including charges and convictions.
Several frequently asked questions pages, including a list of vocations requiring blue cards, are available on the Commission for Children and Young People and Child Guardian website.
New registration form
Recently CCYPCG altered its blue card registration forms. All applications made after 31 May 2007 must use the new forms available on the CCYPCG website, or through the Blue Card Contact Centre.
