The Centre for Early Childhood Development (CECD) is a non-profit, non-government organisation. It was formed to improve access to quality early childhood development programs and services for children throughout South Africa's nine provinces.

To achieve these goals the StarBright Learning Exchange project was established to provide early childhood development skills via training programs and shared learning experiences in Australia and South Africa.

CECD is seeking to appoint an early childhood development exchange coordinator to establish and coordinate the project. The role involves supervising the three month exchange placements and the Australian and South African educators, and to facilitate the understanding of each other's work and social cultures.
