Testimonials from the 2016 AJEC Symposium:
‘The AJEC Research Symposium is a golden opportunity for both emerging and established researchers to come together for collegial conversations about their work. The centrepiece of the two days is a set of concurrent sessions that offer rich opportunities for discussion and networking. We guarantee a very warm welcome and look forward to seeing you at QUT.’ Professor Ann Farrell
‘The AJEC Research Symposium provided a platform for connecting with researchers and practitioners and to publish in AJEC special edition. The conversations with practitioners, researchers and PhD students were rich, intellectual and valuable. Particularly because the round table discussions provided a professional and friendly way to discuss important issues in Early Childhood. I look forward to another very exciting research symposium!’ Dr Gloria Quiñones
‘I have found the AJEC Research Symposium to be an excellent opportunity to learn, share, reflect and be challenged by researchers in early childhood education and care in a convivial environment where you can network with early childhood professionals.’ Wendy Boyd
‘I am an experienced researcher who has attended the AJEC Symposium several times. I find it valuable to hear about cutting edge research directly from the researchers. This also provides a great opportunity within a relatively small group of people, to establish relationships with other researchers. I have done this several times, leading to the development of collaborations for grant applications and research. Yes, you can read all the latest journals and know what is being reported, but most of us don’t have as much time for this as would be ideal, and what is presented at the AJEC symposium is even more current. I recommend it.’ Conjoint Associate Professor Linda Newman
