As a consequence of COVID-19 (coronavirus) and in accordance with announcements made by Prime Minister Scott Morrison on 18 March 2020, Early Childhood Australia has decided to postpone our 2020 Reconciliation Symposium. This event is postponed rather than cancelled; we are committed to running it next year 14–15 May 2021 in Darwin.

Current ticket-holders to the 2020 Symposium have two options:

  • Stay registered and attend the ECA Reconciliation Symposium in 2021 (we will hold your payment and give you priority access to the event next year).
    Or
  • Apply for a full refund for your Reconciliation Symposium 2020 registration.

Please email us on events@earlychildhood.org.au and one of our events team members will get back to you as soon as possible, or call the customer service line on 1800 356 900 (free call in Australia).

New online event in 2020

Meanwhile, we are working on a dynamic and engaging online event called Reconciliation Connect to be held on Friday 15 May 2020. This event will stream live presentations from speakers, educators and service leaders, and feature online discussion forums as well as Q&A sessions. This is an opportunity to continue your reconciliation journey from the comfort of your own home or workplace.

Places are limited. Revisit this site for updates or click here to sign up for the ECA Events mailing list.

Registration for Reconciliation Connect will open by the end of this week.
