Want to build strong, positive relationships with your families and support their parenting?

Centre-based services:
There are two ways to take advantage of this offer and it won't cost your service anything:*

  • increase your fees by 29c per week per family (52 weeks) or
  • increase your enrolment fee (if you have one) by $14.99.

Several services have indicated they will pay for a subscription for each family out of their existing allocation for resources. 50 subscriptions will cost only $750.

Family Day Care Coordinator Units:
There are a number of ways for FDC Coordination Units to recoup the subscription costs:

  • an increase of $14.99 in the annual enrolment fee paid by parents or
  • an increase in the administrative levy of 29c per family per week would cover the cost of the subscription.

Make the Everyday Learning Series a built-in benefit of using your service.

Make receiving the copies of the Everyday Learning Series a service benefit in the same way as you do nappies, resources, meals etc. Each family will get the books that are published while they are in the service. The parent pays in their fees but the service distributes the books.

For example:
If you have a 39 place service with 70 families, the total cost will be $1050 (or $263 per quarter). By slightly increasing your fees the full cost will be covered by parents. Payments can be made quarterly or annually in advance.

For just 29c per week (or $14.99 per year) per family:

  • generate goodwill and positive word of mouth within the community for your service
  • support your families to be more confident in their parenting
  • build strong, positive relationship with your families
  • support high quality practices in your service.

Ros Cornish, Lady Gowrie, Tasmania
'I would like to say thank you for such a wonderful series! I have found the Everyday Learning Series to be an invaluable resource for using with my preschool families.
