The National Childcare Accreditation Council is responsible for the implementation and administration of the Quality Assurance (QA) systems for family day care, outside school hours care and long day care across Australia.
The QA systems are an initiative of the Australian Government and aim to ensure that children in care have stimulating, positive experiences and interactions.
