Are you planning how to spend your School Readiness Funding?
The Victorian Department of Education and Training (DET) menu of evidence
ECA has been added to the menu of evidence-informed School Readiness Funding through DET. Start your planning early by viewing the below offers from ECA. Packages are available for sale (for all states and territories) in February 2020, however, DET funding only covers Victorian-based services.
The below professional learning bundles integrate online learning and professional reading, two research based approaches that enable educators to engage in sustained learning on a specific topic. There is a strong research basis for online professional learning as it provides access to timely information (without the need to wait for face to face training), enables educators opportunity to revisit ideas by re-watching and re-engaging and promotes opportunity for service level change, with multiple educators in a service participating (synchronously or asynchronously) in professional learning.
The ECA Professional Learning Bundles are designed as blended, flexible and self-passed professional learning packages that can be utilised by individuals or teams. Publications can be shared with families and across educator’s teams, webcasts can be viewed with whole teams in staff meetings and online learning modules can be utilised by individual educators. Once purchased services will have access to the online learning for 12 months and will also gain access to the ECA Learning Management System (LMS) to track professional learning and download or print completion certificates. Publications are the services to keep and can be revisited over and over supporting learning and building understanding over time.
