What we do

The ECA ACT Committee represents early childhood professionals across the ACT, advocating for high-quality early learning and influencing local and national policy in partnership with Early Childhood Australia.

The Committee supports the sector through professional learning opportunities, networking and member engagement events, and regular meetings focused on advancing quality practice, workforce sustainability and sector advocacy priorities within the ACT

Ongoing initiatives

  • Advocating on key ACT and national early childhood policy reforms, with a focus on quality, workforce sustainability and equitable access.
  • Delivering ongoing professional learning and networking opportunities for members across the ACT.
  • Supporting annual sector events and campaigns led by Early Childhood Australia, including local engagement activities.
  • Participating in sector consultations, partnerships and working groups to represent the ACT early childhood workforce.
