Alisha Burns
Alisha Burns is the founder of Solo Mum Society, a leading community and support platform for women choosing solo motherhood in Australia and New Zealand. After years of infertility, the stillbirth of her son, a divorce, and the sudden loss of her father, Alisha made the intentional decision to become a mother on her own terms at age 38. What started as sharing her personal journey online evolved into Solo Mum Society—an education-focused ecosystem offering structured support, coaching, community, courses and a podcast amplifying women’s stories. Before this, Alisha built a career in corporate loyalty and strategic marketing, which now informs how she designs long-term, stage-specific support for solo mums. She is also an author, podcast host, and coach, dedicated to empowering women to build families and meaningful lives independently.
