Jayneen Sanders
Jayneen Sanders (aka Jay Dale) is an experienced author, publisher, elementary school teacher, mother of three and an active advocate for Body Safety, Gender Equality and Respectful Relationship Education being taught both in homes and in schools. She is also lead author of Engage Literacy published by Capstone Classroom, and has had published over 150 stories for children. Jayneen feels passionately that we can do so much more to keep our children safe by teaching them age-appropriate and empowering prevention education.

Farimah Khavarinezhad
Farimah is an award-winning illustrator with a true passion for character design and storytelling. She has illustrated over 15 picture books, and some of her clients include Magic Cat Publishing, Lucky Cat Publishing, Capstone Publishing, Oxford University Press, and Educate2Empower Publishing. She has also created character design work for animation companies such as Big Bad Boo and Distillery Film.
Farimah was born in 1992 and grew up in a small family where her love for art started at an early age. One of her fondest childhood memories is watching ""Anne of Green Gables"" while sketching scenes from the show.
As she got older, she became eager to explore different materials and styles. She spent several years captivated by the beauty of Farshchian paintings, diving deep into oil painting in the miniature style. This period taught her the importance of attention to detail.
She's based in Canada, where she lives with her husband. It’s been five years that she's working professionally as an illustrator. She loves showcasing diversity and multiculturalism in her illustrations.
