Evelyn Callaghan and Sarah White

Evelyn Callaghan and Sarah White are experienced early childhood practitioners at Deakin School for Early Learning in Canberra. In 1991 Sarah White, a newly qualified early childhood professional, applied for a position as the preschool teacher at Evelyn Callaghan’s childcare centre. In the 25 years since then, Evelyn and Sarah have worked together and travelled to early learning centres, institutes and conferences around the world. They have collaborated at Peter Pan Kindergarten (1991-97) and the Park School for Early Learning (both in Canberra) and, since 1996, at Deakin School for Early Learning, where they continue to learn and challenge themselves.
