Nicole Megan Lees

Nicole Lees is a consultant for Be You with Early Childhood Australia. Nicole’s background includes educator and leaderships roles, consultancy and research. Nicole spent several years working in education services in Japan and South Korea before returning to Australia. Experiencing early childhood education across three countries deepened her understanding of the universal importance of wellbeing for children, educators and communities.
She holds qualifications in Business (People & Culture), International Studies, Early Childhood Education, and a Master of Childhood and Youth Studies. Her work exploring wellbeing in early learning has been published in the NZ International Research in Early Childhood Education Journal, the AGECS Audax publication, and the Early Childhood Australia Research in Practice Series. Nicole remains closely connected to the sector, currently serving on the Committee of Management for a community-based kindergarten and long day care service in Melbourne and as Secretary for the Association of Graduates in Early Childhood Studies.
