Senior Events Officer
Canberra, Australian Capital Territory or Melbourne, Victoria
The Senior Events Officer plays a key role in ensuring the effective planning and delivery of the ECA National Conference and other organisational events. This includes providing comprehensive administrative and logistical support to facilitate the smooth execution of events, in line with ECA’s policies, procedures, and work plan timelines.
The role involves regular communication and collaboration with key stakeholders, committees, and event participants through phone, email, and in-person interactions. It also encompasses project coordination responsibilities across all aspects of event and project management, working closely with teams across the organisation to ensure cohesive and successful outcomes.
This position will require interstate overnight travel from time to time.

Events Administrator

The Events Administrator Officer plays a key role in the effective planning and delivery of the ECA National Conference and other organisational events. The position provides a broad range of administrative and organisational support across all ECA conferences, symposiums and events ensuring their smooth and timely delivery in line with approved work plans, timelines, and ECA policies and procedures.
This role involves regular communication with key stakeholders, committees, delegates and ECA staff via phone, email and written correspondence. It also requires a high level of administrative support across the organisation, including liaising with suppliers and collaborating closely with other ECA teams.
This position will require interstate overnight travel from time to time.

Digital Content and Media Officer

The Digital Content and Media Officer support Early Childhood Australia’s public presence by creating engaging, accessible digital content and assisting with media activity across the organisation’s platforms. This role focuses on developing social media content, supporting digital campaigns, and contributing to media releases and public messaging. This position plays a key role in maintaining a consistent voice across channels while helping ECA respond to emerging trends and issues. It will suit a creative communicator who is confident with short-form writing, digital storytelling, and adapting content for different platforms.

Sales and E-Commerce Officer

The Sales and E-Commerce Officer plays a key role in supporting ECA’s financial sustainability by actively identifying and engaging in sales opportunities and managing the ECA Shop and driving revenue across the organisation’s commercial offerings, including professional learning offerings, conference and event tickets, memberships etc. The ideal candidate is commercially minded and confident working across data, systems, and customer relationships, with a strong understanding of sales and excellent communication skills.
