Pathways and Development Coordinator: Education and Care

The Pathways and Development Coordinator: Education and Care plays a pivotal role in delivering the Workforce Development Scholarship Program as part of the ECA Tasmania Workforce Initiative. This position focuses on supporting individuals to successfully complete qualifications and thrive in the sector through financial and wraparound supports, such as mentoring and coaching. You’ll guide participants through their training journey, helping them complete qualifications and gain confidence in their roles.

The Digital Content and Media Officer support Early Childhood Australia’s public presence by creating engaging, accessible digital content and assisting with media activity across the organisation’s platforms. This role focuses on developing social media content, supporting digital campaigns, and contributing to media releases and public messaging. This position plays a key role in maintaining a consistent voice across channels while helping ECA respond to emerging trends and issues. It will suit a creative communicator who is confident with short-form writing, digital storytelling, and adapting content for different platforms.

Sales and E-Commerce Officer

The Sales and E-Commerce Officer plays a key role in supporting ECA’s financial sustainability by actively identifying and engaging in sales opportunities and managing the ECA Shop and driving revenue across the organisation’s commercial offerings, including professional learning offerings, conference and event tickets, memberships etc. The ideal candidate is commercially minded and confident working across data, systems, and customer relationships, with a strong understanding of sales and excellent communication skills.

Workforce Connections Coordinator – Education and Care
Tasmania
The Workforce Connections Coordinator – Education and Care plays an important role in creating collaborative relationships across the Education and Care (EC) sector, as well as with the broader community and government stakeholders. This position will support engagement activities, ensuring that voices from all parts of the sector are heard and valued.
A key responsibility of the role is to support the successful implementation of the Early Years and School Age Care (EYSAC) Workforce Strategy (2021 and beyond). This involves working closely with stakeholders to co-design and deliver innovative, sector-led approaches that address workforce needs, promote professional growth, and create sustainable pathways for workforce development. The Connections Coordinator will help identify opportunities for collaboration, amplify local and regional initiatives, and contribute to shaping a thriving EC sector that meets the needs of children, families, and communities.
The position will be part of the Workforce Development Initiative team, working to support the EYSAC Workforce Connections Program.
