Regional, Rural and Remote Early Childhood Forum brought to you by Early Childhood Australia
Travel scholarship applications now closed
Early Childhood Australia (ECA) is committed to supporting educators in regional, rural and remote areas by providing opportunities to connect, learn and strengthen early years education.
The Regional, Rural & Remote Early Childhood Forum will bring together educators from across the country to share experiences, explore challenges, and build sector-wide connections. The forum will be held from 10–11 April 2025 at Rydges Resort Hunter Valley, NSW.
We understand that some educators and services may face challenges in attending due to travel costs. To help, ECA—thanks to the support of the Victorian Department of Education—is offering limited travel scholarships to assist with expenses. Scholarships may be used toward travel, accommodation, or registration costs at the discretion of the recipient or their employer.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must:
- Work in a Victorian funded kindergarten operating in a rural or remote area
- Be available to attend both days of the forum
- Meet with their travel scholarship sponsor for a photo opportunity (for use in media and promotional materials)
- Provide feedback on their experience and the impact of the scholarship after the event
